The role of Family Capital for Long-Term Impact in Asia.png

Overview

Growing impact enterprises requires more than simply increasing the amount of available capital. In sectors such as healthcare, climate, food, and well-being, companies often need long time horizons, regulatory navigation, market creation, operating support, governance, international expansion, and strategic partnerships.

At the same time, financial institutions and funds are often constrained by LP mandates, fiduciary duty, fund timelines, and risk-return requirements, which may not match the actual time horizon and risk profile required for impact enterprises to scale.

We would like to explore how to connect not just VC and PE, but also family capital, catalytic capital, long-term debt, corporate capital, public-sector capital, and institutional capital to support long-term scale and international expansion.
